My Experience

Hello VOC team,

Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the Voices on Canvas Lego competition. I was impressed at how organized and competient your organization was run.

I wanted to share something special that came out of participating with my son in the Lego competition. My son is smart, kind and nice but I got to see another dimension to his personality while working on the Lego project. I got to see my son put himself in other peoples shoes while 'walking around the Rose Garden'. He would think about what families would enjoy when they visited. I also got to see my son take apart his creation when he came up with a better design. It was a joy to see him take this project so personally.

Thank you for designing such a project that engages young people to work on real world challenges with the familiarity of Legos. We look forward to seeing you again.
